Process Simulation Activities

Process simulation is a core skill set for understanding the behaviour of the process fluids during process operations and steady state simulations are performed at the inception of the project and periodically to ascertain the optimum design configuration of the unit operations that will comprise the core equipment and piping elements.

Basically, the steady state simulations are performed to give a basic definition of the fluid behaviour and the associated process configuration required to process a quantified throughput of oil and gas inventory through the subsea, topsides and or onshore installation.

Depending on the level of performance monitoring activities for various equipment (such as compressors, separators and heat exchangers) required by the Client, dynamic simulation can be performed so that performance can be optimized.
