Wax Deposition Activities
During the early stages of the design, the field composition can be analysed for wax forming components in the crude oil and condensates that may eventually impact the value of the end product.
Special wax deposition software programs will be utilised to predict the “when”, “where” and “how much” of heavy organics that will flocculate out in these products under certain conditions. The software that will be used for the wax deposition analyses will be Multiflash and Petro-SIM from KBC, HYSYS from AspenTech and MWP from Michigan University.
